The project is a study group for the book Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs. This is a famous book which has been used in undergraduate courses in many universities to teach students general principles of programming. The language used in the text is Scheme, a dialect of Lisp, which the authors claim to be a perfect teaching language since it allows them to concentrate on fundamental concepts they want to present without having to teach very much syntax.
Because The Wizard Book is dedicated: “in respect and admiration, to the spirit that lives in the computer.”
